Signs of success

Signs Express has announced that Ken Venables has become the owner of its Norwich-based production unit, which was previously the only company owned operation within the 70-strong Signs Express chain.

Originally established in Norwich in 1989, where Signs Express has its head office and a support operation employing 17 people, the Norwich production centre was used as a pilot for the franchise concept before the business opportunity was rolled out across the country.

No stranger to Signs Express, having successfully managed the Norwich Centre from 2000 to 2008, before moving on to UK Hire and then to Quentor, Ken Venables will take over from Paul Baldwin, who is moving to head office to take up the role of National Sales Manager, where he will help to grow the network’s national clients.
