Simpson Print installs its third swissQprint Nyala flatbed
Simpson Print has installed its third swissQprint Nyala flatbed printer in preparation for the hotly anticipated post-pandemic retail boom and is thus ready to meet the increased demand as well as new customer requirements.

“People will be back in the stores once the pandemic is over,“ stated Carla Johanns, President of Simpson Print. “Retail work represents a major part of this company’s business and, consequently, we are preparing for the shift to a more hybrid market.”

The company has been a successful screenprinter for over 25 years and has also been an early adopter of wide-format. “Simpson Print is always about unique differentiation in the marketplace,“ Carla Johanns stressed.

In fact, the company has constantly grown and successfully diversified since 2017, when it introduced a MIS as well as acquiring its first swissQprint large format printer. It added a further swissQprint machine in 2019 and has now installed the third. All of these Nyala flatbed printers are equipped with various add-ons.

Carla Johanns continued: “This acquisition was about quality. Technology platforms are ever-changing and speeds have increased since the earliest days of digital technology, but quality is a client deliverable that we are not willing to sacrifice. By adding a third platform with an inkjetable primer option we feel we are in the strongest possible position to deliver the quality, speed, and versatility to meet all of our clients’ requirements on time.”

Simpson Print is a full-service provider, specialising in a diverse set of capabilities, which range from industrial nameplates and decals through to retail merchandising and in-store signage, as well as custom and high-volume packaging.

“The key to success is not just diversity, but involves the harnessing of intelligent integrated processes too,“ Carla Johanns added. “We have everything under one roof, including printing and finishing, warehouse and inventory management and accurate final fulfilment that is further complemented by a dedicated on-site client care team.”
