Smart signs lead the way

When sign company, L.E. Graphics needed easily changeable signage for the newly built Termon Complex, Applelec’s I-Sign Flex range proved to be the perfect choice.

The Termon Complex is a sports and entertainment centre in the village of Pettigo, which sits on the border between County Donnegal in the Republic of Ireland and County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland. The state of the art, multi-use complex provides facilities for the entire community, including a hi-spec gym, sports hall, meeting and conference rooms, an outdoor games area, a playground and a community garden.

The project was awarded a €8.3million grant through the PEACE III programme, a scheme that promotes reconciliation between communities and contributes to a shared society through community projects in Northern Ireland and the Irish Border.

L.E. Graphics was commissioned to design and supply a sign package for both the interior and exterior of the building, which included wayfinding, fingerpost and wall signage. However, since the rooms are frequently used for a multitude of different purposes, it was vital that the signage could be easily changed when required without looking in anyway temporary, which is why L.E. Graphics selected the I-Sign Flex range. With its streamlined contemporary design, the I-Sign Flex frames perfectly complemented the building’s modern architecture, while also combining the look and feel of permanent signage with the ease and functionality of a snap frame.  A mix of wall-mounted and hanging I-Sign Flex frames were used throughout the complex, each of which featured a matching silver anodised finish and coordinated graphics, all provided by L.E. Graphics.
