Stellar sponsor line-up for industry ‘oscars’
This year’s British Sign Awards has received unprecedented support from the industry, according to David Catanach, Director of the BSGA, which organises the awards.
3M has again stepped forward as the principal sponsor of the awards scheme with individual awards being supported by Spandex (Interior Signage), William Smith (sponsor of two Vehicle Livery awards), Soyang Europe (Wide Format Award), Vink (Illuminated Sign), Nationwide Platforms (Roll-out Programme), Epson (Innovation Award), Amari Plastics (Small Signmaker Award) and Trade Etching Direct (Craftsman Award).
These have now been joined by Blackburn Metals, sponsor of the Architectural Sign of the Year, and Atlantic Tech who are supporting the Wayfinding Award.
In addition, Sign Express is supporting the award for the Sign Industry Product of the Year.
“The BSGA introduced the awards to provide a focal point for the outstanding work performed by the sign industry in the UK and to continue to promote the highest standards of creativity, quality and workmanship,” said David. “However, we could not achieve any of this without the commitment and support of the sponsors.”
The awards are now open for entry and full details on how to enter can be found at britishsignawards.org . Entry is open to all UK-based sign businesses and is free. Closing date for entries is Friday, September 4th.
The winners will be unveiled at a gala presentation ceremony which this year will take place at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on Tuesday, 13th October.
“It’s a superb venue and we aim to make it the occasion of the year for the British Sign Industry,” added David.
