Team Atlantic nails BHF London to Brighton bike ride

Team Atlantic recently conquered the British Heart Foundation’s London to Brighton bike ride, fielding a five-strong team led by Atlantic’s Technical Services Director, Stafford Cox, (pictured centre in the image above).

Atlantic completed the event to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation in what has become its flagship event, covering 54 miles from the starting point on Clapham Common to the beach at Brighton.

The team, which had no experienced riders at the start, trained regularly over the months prior to the day of competition. During the training period, one of the riders, Darren Harding, unfortunately suffered a very serious fall and ended up in hospital with a fractured ankle and shattered wrist, however despite this set back and the atrocious conditions on the day of the ride, which saw torrential rainfall for over 40 miles, he was still part of the Atlantic team on the day of the event.
