Plymouth-based Graphicomm Digital has won the Office Award at the inaugural Antalis Interior Design Awards 2018, in respect of its extraordinary wrapping project, which completely transformed an old shipping container.

The awards ceremony, which took place in Paris at the Maison&Objet Exhibition, on Monday 22nd January, was attended members of the design, print and architectural community, whogathered to celebrate creative design and to reward the exceptional projects entered into the competition. A seven-strong jury of industry experts judged the 300-plus entries received from sign and print companies operating in 29 countries across the globe.

Graphicomm Digital created its camouflage wrap by using a number of high-resolution photographs of the local landscape that were then printed on to Antalis’ Coala 2d Dynamic Polymeric Gloss white vinyl that was then applied to the container, enabling it to be seamlessly integrated into the surrounding environment. The wrap was finished with Coala 2D Matt Laminate to provide extra protection and durability.
