The Print Show proves to be a key buying event
Ricoh, one of the exhibitors at the inaugural edition of The Print Show, was also able to finalise a number of important sales at the event.
Stephen Palmer, Head of Production Print at Ricoh UK said: “The decision to support The Print Show is something we didn’t take lightly as there are other events to consider as well.
“But what we actually thought the UK needed was a more focused, compact show, which The Print Show provided, and we are absolutely delighted with the outcome.”
As well as enjoying a steady flow of visitors, Ricoh was able to complete a number of deals at the show, including the completion of an agreement with Cannock-based KJB Print for the purchase of a Pro C9110 from Ricoh, and a similar agreement with print-on-demand company CMP, based in Poole, Dorset, also for a Pro C9110. Another company to invest in Ricoh technology at the show was PHD Mail, a business printing services and mail e-solutions firm based in Burton-on-Trent. The company opted to expand into the inkjet colour market with the purchase of an InfoPrint 5000 inkjet system.
Link Exhibitions, the organiser of the event, is delighted with the positive responses it has received from both exhibitors and visitors. Event Director Chris Davies commented “The show served as a key buying event for the UK print industry, with many major manufacturers reporting a significant number of sales during the three days of the event.”
The Print Show returns to the NEC on October 11th- 13th, 2016.
