Fujifilm Speciality Ink Systems (FSIS) has picked up two more prestigious awards for its Broadstairs production facility, walking away with both the Export award and the Best Process Plant award at the Best Factory Awards (BFAs).

Peter Kenehan, Managing Director of FSIS, said: “We are all very proud of this achievement. Being presented with the Best Process Plant award for the third time speaks volumes about our ability to adapt to change and consistently adopt and implement best industry practices.

“Achieving the Export Award is testimony our determination to serve the world market for our products, and to our logistics expertise, which allows us to develop business wherever our customers are located.”

FSIS, which employs 320 people, is the second largest private employer in Thanet.

The Best Factory Awards (BFAs) is now in its 24th year and recognises and honours UK manufacturers who are leading the way in continuous improvement and delivering top results for their customers.
