An unprecedented demand for the Mimaki UJV55-33

Following its much-heralded European launch at FESPA Digital in Amsterdam, where forward orders for the new Mimaki UJV55-320 roll-to-roll LED UV printer created unprecedented demand, the company’s UK and Irish distributor, Hybrid Services is now preparing for its debut at Sign & Digital UK.

Stuart Cole, Hybrid’s National Sales Manager – Industrial Products commented “We’ve not seen such interest in a grand format machine since the launch of the JFX200 flatbed.  The response to the new printer at FESPA was spectacular, with Mimaki receiving significant orders during the show and we anticipate a similar reaction when the machine shows for the first time in the UK.”

He continued: “The JFX200 rewrote the rule books for 8’ x 4’ flatbed printers and we’re fully expecting the UJV55 to do the same for roll-to-roll machines. With a retail price of just £59,995,combined with an impressive feature set, we anticipate that it will be an attractive proposition for a large section of our existing and potential customer base.”

With a number of intuitive features that facilitate high quality output at production volumes, the UJV55-320 uses Mimaki’s latest flexible LED UV inkset to produce banners, backlit and point of sale graphics up to 3.2m wide. Combining all the benefits of LED curing, including low running costs, with the option to run two narrower rolls concurrently and an inline lightbox for checking backlit output on the machine, plusthe capability to run roll media up to 100kg in weight, it offers sign and print companies a cost effective, flexible and powerful solution.

Hybrid Services will be showon Stand E10 at Sign & Digital UK, which takes place at Birmingham’s NEC  from 19th-21st April.
