Virtual store enlargement

Pyramid Computer GmbH, a specialist manufacturer of custom IT solutions will be participating in the Integrated Systems Europe 2015 (ISE) exhibition being held at the Rai in Amsterdam on 20th-12th February ISE 2015, where it will be partnering with 3M to highlight the benefits of its polytouch one-stop POS system, as recently installed by TAO Technical Sportswear in Germany.

The next generation POOOX (Point of Online Offline Exchange) demonstrated in Hall 8, Stand F300, offers a new shopping dimension, uniting the in-store world with online commerce.

The compact size and optional peripherals make the systems suitable for any store layout and design and visitors to ISE are invited to see and play with the system, which we will be demonstrating on our stand at the show, to experience for themselves just how much fun shopping can be,”

By installing polytouch systems in their brick and mortar stores, retailers such as TAO are able to offer customers a totally new and innovative shopping experience, via virtual store enlargement, which enables them to sell more in less space. The retailer can also add a wide range of additional services to encourage upselling and faster, more convenient check-out, for example by offering related accessories, product finder and product comparison. Dedicated real time offers can also drive additional revenue, such as special promotions on umbrellas on a rainy day.
