William Smith stocks Avery Dennison’s new PVC-free film
Avery Dennison has recently added a new PVC-free film, SP 3523 Opaque Matt, to its Sustainable Print portfolio, in order to further extend the choice of sustainable alternatives available to sign and print companies.

SP 3523 is a matt white, self-adhesive polyolefin, with grey permanent adhesive for overposting needs that is optimised for short-term applications, such as promotional graphics. As well as being PVC-free, it contains no chlorine, phthalates, or other halogens, thus vastly reducing the emissions of volatile organic components (VOCs). In addition, it also features a solvent-free, water-based adhesive making it the ideal product for those seeking to improve their environmental footprint and marking a welcome move towards the provision of more sustainable options across the substrate market.

Other key product features include excellent printability and handling characteristics, easy cutting and application onto a variety of different substrates.  Digital print compatibility makes it easy to achieve maximum visual impact when using the film in conjunction with either UV or latex ink technologies, and a full fire-resistance certification further extends the application possibilities.

SP 3523 Opaque Matt offers three years of vertical, unprinted durability, which makes it ideal for temporary promotional and point of sale advertisements in stores, at events, and in other indoor locations.

Avery Dennison SP 3523 Opaque Matt is now available from stock at William Smith.
