The global wrap event, sponsored by 3M and Mutoh, took place over the five days of FESPA 2015 Global Expo. 36 wrappers battled it out over the week to win the prestigious title of FESPA World Wrap Master. The European Wrap Masters competition took place on the first three days, the winners of which joined winners from other global regions as the top 12 wrappers competed in the final on the last two days.

2015 World Wrap Master Kiss Lajos, commented: “I’m very happy to have defended my title from last year – it was a super event and I liked the new creative tasks this year’s competition presented, as it is good for the competitors to create something unique. I look forward to the next competition!”

All prints used during the competition were printed on 3M’s Envision SV480 Cv3print wrap film on a Mutoh ValueJet 1638X dual head high-speed printer, using Mutoh inks and this year, competitors were also able to further express their creativity with the application of 3M1080 coloured wrap films onto rockets and vacuum jugs as well as vehicle wrapping.

Over the five day show, visitors toecap 2015 were also invited to try their hand at wrapping car doors against the clock and were able to speak with the Wrap Masters’ Judges to gain useful tips and hints tips on wrapping techniques.
