Zünd to demonstrate versatility at its best

Zünd will use FESPA Global Print Expo 2019 to present the full gamut of production scenarios available to sign and print companies and promises visitors to its stand will see an ‘explosion of possibilities’.

Visitors to the Zünd stand (Stand F30, Hall B5) will see the full diversity of Zünd digital finishing solutions, while also learning how substrates can be processed in many different ways, productively and with the utmost flexibility.

Zünd cutters are the ideal choice for anyone looking to economically produce high-quality graphics, whether from acrylics, cardboard or fabric, as the company’s multi-functional cutting systems can be used to process a wide range of different substrates. Equally varied are the available processing methods, ranging from cutting, folding, creasing, and perforating to routing and laser cutting.

With the RM-L routing system, Zünd will be showing a powerful routing solution that opens up the widest possible choices of heavy-duty materials. It also features an automatic tool changer (ARC), which transforms router-bit handling into a completely automated process.

Digitally printed fabrics are the hot advertising medium these days, and the Zünd G3 cutter is in especially high demand for this application. At FESPA, a G3 cutting system will be shown cutting, among other things, textile rolls up to 3.2 m/10 ft wide.

To provide a hands-on experience of what maximum productivity looks like in real life, a Zünd D3 dual-beam cutting system will also be on display. The two beams can each accommodate up to three different tools, and depending on the cut file, deliver up to twice the productivity of a single-beam system.

The Zünd Cut Center (ZCC) with its new, high-speed registration system provides additional workflow options. In seconds, the Over Cutter Camera (OCC) automatically captures the position of the materials to be cut, plus any distortions that may have occurred, and cutting begins almost immediately. AT FESPA, the OCC system, which is now also available for use with the S3 and D3 cutter series, will be shown in action on a S3 machine.
