3M updates its IJ180mC wrap films to offer 3D functionality
In response to the increasing demand for wrapping films to offer enhanced 3D functionality, 3M has updated its range of IJ180mC print wrap films to ensure that they are now 3D. In addition, the IJ180mC-10, IJ180mC-114 and IJ180mC-120 print wrap films all have 130 percent film stretch too, thus enabling them to conform to recesses, curved surfaces, corrugations and rivets without snapping back.
Each of the cast vinyl films also has its own unique properties, providing customers with 3D-conformable options for every preference, style and application.
For example, the IJ180mC-114 print wrap film is a printable transparent wrapping film, enabling users to create subtle designs that let the vehicle colour shine through, while the IJ180mC-120 print wrap film is a printable metallic wrap film, offering a shiny effect for an edgier look.
3M’s 3D-functional products also include the SV and LX480mC print wrap films by 3M, both of which are from the company’s non-PVC Envision range.
Pen Webley, Marketing Manager for 3M’s Commercial Solutions division, said: “At 3M, we value greatly what our customers tell us about their needs and the demand for vehicle wrap films with 3D functionality has led to the testing of our flagship range of printable products, resulting in this new classification.”
