ADAPT to host dedicated 3M interactive open days
ADAPT Amari Digital Printing Technologies is hosting a series of interactive open days in April, showcasing the latest in 3M film products and technologies.

On 4th–6th April, 3M will take over the ADAPT training centre in Nottingham to stage six, free-to-attend events, that will enable visitors to get up close and personal with leading 3M solutions for applications such as architectural wraps, window graphics and vehicle wraps.

Those in attendance will be able to see high-quality 3M products in action first-hand, as well as speak with knowledgeable 3M staff about the solutions and pick up hints and tips on how to get the most out of the films.

Products that will feature across the three days include a preview of a new series of 3M films, further details of which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Visitors can also view the IJ180 Series, including both the 3M IJ180mC-10 film with a pressure activated, grey, permanent adhesive and 3M Series IJ180mC with a micro comply adhesive which has hidden air release channels.

Other highlights will include the 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 set of durable and coloured cast films for wrapping vehicles. Available in a wide range of colours in 1.524m-wide rolls, the range helps users to create a truly distinctive look and a sleek appearance for vehicles.

Another vehicle wrap film being showcased will be Envision 480 Wrap Film, comprising the LX-480MC and SV-480MC, both of which are non-PVC film options with a permanent adhesive that are versatile enough to wrap around vehicles, trailers and boats. Also part of this range is 3M Envision 48-20, a film with a permanent solvent adhesive for indoor and outdoor signs and fleet graphics.

Additionally, 3M will promote its DI-NOC Architectural Finishes range, which features a wide range of decorative surface finishes available in more than 300 designs.

As well as all of this from this, visitors will have the opportunity to view a number of products from the 3M range of window films. These include 3M Dichroic Glass Film DF-PA Blaze, which appears to change colour when viewed at various angles, as well as the 3M Day/Night Film that produces the appearance of dark graphics during the day, and white or coloured graphics during the night.

Another addition to the 3M window films range, 3M 7725 314 Dusted Crystal film, transforms plain glass, capturing the look of sandblasted or etched glass to an astonishing degree. Made from durable and flexible polyester materials, these permanent, pressure-sensitive films have a transparent synthetic liner for the easy cutting of logos or designs.

Kris Owen, Training Centre & Fleet Sales Manager at ADAP, commented:: “We’re delighted to work in partnership with 3M to showcase its leading range of films for multiple applications at our class-leading training facility in Nottingham.”

Amy Cattanach, Channel Manager, from 3M added: “Having a media that you can trust and being at the forefront of the latest technology has never been more important in today’s competitive market. We look forward to meeting new customers and showcasing our innovative 3M graphics solutions over three full days.

“Special focus will be on 3M Envision Print Wrap Film Series for vehicle wrapping, 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 and our architectural films including 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes and 3M Fasara Glass Finishes.

“We will also be previewing a brand-new print film. Customers can get ‘hands on’ with 3M products, chat with 3M experts and learn more about further 3M training courses offered at ADAPT.”

Delegates can choose from morning or afternoon sessions on the 4th, 5th and 6th April. Morning sessions will run from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and afternoon sessions 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
