Visitors to the FASTCOM stand at Poland’s REMADAYS 2019 exhibition in Warsaw will see a Roland VersaEXPRESS RF-640 printer working with UV inks to produce instantly dry and durable print thanks to its DURAUV technology upgrade.

FASTCOM, a leading supplier of print technologies and consumables to the sign and display industries in Poland, is showcasing DURAUV print technology for the first time at the Remadays 2019 exhibition from February 13th – 15th.

The increasing popularity of UV cured inks in the sign, display and print industries is underlined by the number of new wide format UV inkjet printers appearing at exhibitions and trade shows over the past few years.  So, fans of Roland printers visiting REMADAYS 2019 will welcome the opportunity to see a DURAUV version of the very popular RF-640 model being demonstrated on the FASCOM stand (HALL F, Stand No. L11)

DURAUV print technology is the culmination of almost two years of research, development and field trials carried out by its UK based distributor, CSL Digital.  This company has a long history of working closely with printer manufacturers to develop bespoke technical solutions that enable standard wide format printers to take advantage of latest developments in inks and inkjet technologies without the need to introduce entirely new models.

According to FASTCOM’s President, Tomasz Komuniecki, “DURAUV print technology enables the RF-640 to deliver dry and durable print that’s ready to ship, apply or laminate the second it leaves the printer.  The cost savings associated with DURAUV are instant too.  DURAUV inks deliver far more square metres of print per litre than solvent or latex ink technologies. What’s more, using low energy UV LED light not power-hungry heaters to cure inks means that the day to day running costs of a printer with DURAUV technology will be much lower than other printers in the same class.”

Visitors to the FASTCOM stand will be offered DURAUV print samples, product literature and pricing.
