Epson launches first dye sub transfer paper
Epson has introduced DS Transfer Production Paper, its first dye sublimation material. which is optimised for use with the Epson range of SureColor SC-F inkjet printers and UltraChrome DS inks.
DS Transfer Production Paper, which is unique to Epson and has been specifically developed for the volume production of textiles for fashion and soft signage applications, is lightweight (75gsm) and designed to dry quickly and avoid wet cockling. Its high ink transfer to textile substrates capability, even with heavy ink loads, maximises ink use efficiency and produces consistent high quality, sharp images and vibrant colours.
The excellent dimensional stability of DS Transfer Production Paper during the printing and ink transfer processes makes the paper easy to handle and reduces any potential waste of paper, ink, and textile, while maximising production.
It is compatible with the SureColor SC-F range of dye sublimation printers and is available in two high-volume roll sizes: 1.08m x 1.52m and 1.62m x 1.75m.
