Fastsign centres achieve Idealliance accreditation

Fastsigns Leeds and Fastsigns Manchester have achieved the Idealliance G7 Master Qualification, a print facility accreditation that recognises the consistency of print production across all mediums.

The two centres, which now join the Hammersmith Fastsigns centre, which gained the same qualification last year, undertook a six-week training, examination and qualification process, that provided them with expert knowledge of industry-leading best practices for achieving grey balance and visual synergy across all print substrates.

Richard Wedgwood, owner of Fastsigns Manchester, said: “This achievement topped off what was an outstanding year for us. Not only were we able to purchase a Canon Océ Arizona UV Flatbed printer and Roland DG RF-640 roll-to-roll printer, which represented a £500,000 investment in the business, but within seven years of opening, we have become one of the highest volume Fastsigns centres in the UK. Our G7 Master Qualification provides independent confirmation of our dedication to providing outstanding quality print services.”

Andy Simpson, owner of Fastsigns Leeds, added: “It’s great to be recognised by Idealliance as this accreditation it underlines our commitment to quality and the provision of exceptional levels of customer service. We are now looking forward to sharing our expertise with even more customers over the coming months.”

John Davies, Fastsigns UK Managing Director, commented: “Several other Fastsigns sites are currently undertaking the Idealliance G7 Master Qualification, and we intend to build up a significant UK network of accredited print service providers within our franchise.

“The accreditation helps ensure consistent output, regardless of which accredited centre produces the work. For any national client requiring output produced at multiple locations, working with a G7 accredited company is the only guaranteed way to fully protect its brand integrity.”

Each centre that achieves the accreditation will retain it for 12 months, after which time, it must go through the accreditation process again, to ensure that the same high standards are consistently maintained.
