Get Connected with Esko at FESPA 2020

Esko will showcase its latest solutions to delegates from across the digital and screenprinting sectors at this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo.  The global developer of integrated software and hardware solutions will use the largest international speciality print exhibition to highlight its new and award-winning innovations during the four-day event, which takes place at Madrid’s IFEMA exhibition centre on 24th-27th March.

Visitors to Stand A10, Hall 7 will be able to see Esko’s recently launched software solutions, ArtiosCAD Preflight and Share & Approve, which boost productivity and reduce waste across the print process. Moreover, the company will demonstrate how these individual solutions combine to unlock new heights of efficiency as part of a connected digital ecosystem.

With unrivalled performance in CAD design for packaging and displays, ArtiosCAD Preflight delivers an efficiency boost to the market-leading structural design software by saving users up to 15 minutes per design, eliminating the need for manual checks and standardising checks across a user group. Delivering quality control at the touch of a button, ArtiosCAD Preflight automatically analyses structural design files and flags quality issues to avoid downstream errors and save time for converters. Esko will be demonstrating how the software alerts designers to potential design issues before releasing the file to estimating or production to ensure increased operational uptime and efficiency.

The brand new and unique approval software Share & Approve, which runs as a service on Esko Cloud, will also be showcased at FESPA. A key feature of this programme is that anyone in the workflow can upload, share, annotate and approve jobs in 2D and hyper-realistic 3D, while the ability to record, store and send feedback in a single, centralised online tool brings new clarity to the process, reducing the number of approval iterations and shortening the time required to get a job approved. This enables brands and their supply chains to operate more efficiently and drive down time-to-market.”

Esko will also spotlight its workflow server, Automation Engine, which automates print production tasks and integrates business systems, accelerating the production process by reducing the error rate and need for operator intervention. The latest solution, Automation Engine Cloud Connector, further extends the capabilities of the software to connect to the Esko Cloud, thus opening up a world of possibilities, such as moving jobs, -not just design files, but entire production folders, safely and securely from one production facility to another.

The Esko ecosystem display will be completed with the new, fully upgradeable Kongsberg X Edge digital finishing table. Delivering speeds of 30 m/min with an acceleration of 0.3G and able to handle the full spectrum of display, signage and packaging materials, ranging from kiss cutting vinyl to heavy-duty milling and every job in between, the new X Edge offers the perfect combination of productivity, flexibility and best in class reliability.
