Grimsby Signs Express celebrates a record-breaking year

Grimsby based Signs Express North and North East Lincolnshire, celebrated its 25th anniversary with a record-breaking year, in terms of both sales and investment in equipment and staff.

The largest signs and graphics provider in the region, Signs Express North and North East Lincolnshire has continued to invest each year in its custom design production centre in Grimsby, most recently purchasing a new larger flatbed printer in order to cope with increased demand and offer enhanced flexibility to its customer base.

Directors Matt Bevis and Claire Lindley have both worked in the business for more than 15 years, taking over the reins from Ken Bevis, who was one of the first franchisees to join Signs Express in 1992.

The signs and graphics team prides itself on its quality, customer care and attention to detail and the centre is an exemplary example of the Signs Express network, which now has over 65 production centres across the UK.

Signs Express North and North East Lincolnshire’s new Oce Arizona UV flatbed printer uses CMYK + white ink to print directly on to a wide variety of materials and works in tandem with a large CNC router, a laser engraver, cutting plotters and various large format printers.

The centre’s 26 strong team has developed customer relationships spanning many years and attribute its success to its ongoing commitment to customer service. Managing Director Matt Bevis explained: “Whether we’re helping a local business with graphics for its van or delivering a nationwide roll-out of exterior signs, we try to ensure that our customers receive the same level of care and attention and every member of the team is trained to put the customer first.”

He continued, “I’m immensely proud of our team and the results we’ve achieved. To have our biggest ever year whilst celebrating our 25th anniversary is a very fitting tribute to everyone involved and we are looking forward to making 2018 even better!”
