Join the Roland DG Academy’s first Webinair tomorrow

The Roland DG Academy is inviting industry professionals, together with anybody interested in learning more about print, 3D design, engraving, software or applications, to take part in brand new webinars from this February.

Launching on February 13th 2018, the webinars are free and accessible online, providing a convenient and useful tool for participants to use without having to leave their desk or print room.

Webinars offer an easy and engaging way to learn new techniques and information in short sessions that are tailored to meet the precise needs of the audience.

Webinar attendees will have the Roland DG Academy and Creative Centre Manager Joe Wigzell as their host, with the option for collaboration with relevant parties and guests from all over the world. Joe is an authority on print systems and how to push them to the limit of their design potential, with the added benefit of having access to the vast knowledge base at Roland DG.

He explained: “We’re welcoming anybody with an interest in any of the many subjects we will be offering to this webinar platform, whether they are Roland customers, established businesses looking for something new, students, photographers or, indeed, anyone with an eye for technology, who are looking for ways to diversify, to hone their skills or for inspiration.

The first webinar subject will be ‘VersaUV S-Series – Overview with Q&A’, and will take place on February 13th at 2.30pm GMT.

During the course of approximately 45 mins, the session will introduce the Roland DG VersaUV S-Series, an incredible new range of flatbed and belt fed UV-LED printers that can be used to print onto practically any rigid or flexible substrate or object up to 200mm in height and 100kg/sqm in weight.

The number of potential markets and applications for the S-Series is enormous, so webinar attendees will be invited to ask questions about the range, other Roland print systems and UV printing in general.

A session on ‘Designing for UV’ will continue the series in March, with further webinars focusing on other Roland DG products and how to get maximum results from them, plus application how-tos, tips and tricks. With the ability to deliver sessions regularly and on demand, the Roland Academy is always open to suggestions and will be listening closely to market needs.
