Major changes at SignFab UK

SignFab (UK), a leading manufacturer and supplier of signs to the trade, has announced changes to its senior management team.

The company, which was originally established by Carl Hodgson and Paul Bartholomew in 2001, now employs 140 people at its Leicester-based headquarters.

Carl Hodgson has now become SignFab’s Chairman, a role that will enable him to take a strategic and financial overview and to ensure that the company continues to meet the needs of its customers.

Paul Bartholomew has taken on the role of Managing Director and, as such, has assumed the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business. He will be supported in his endeavours by two new directors and their management teams.

Mike Smith is now Operations Director and will be responsible for the management of the company’s health and safety, purchasing and marketing departments.

Steve Muton, who has been with the company since its inception, is the new Production Director and is tasked with maintaining SignFab’s quality and service commitments.

Commenting on the staff changes, Car Hodgson said: “The next phase of our development will be more exciting than anything that has preceded it and I am confident that our new structure will enable us to realise our aim to provide the sign sector with a trade supplier that constantly exceeds their expectations.”
