Nazdar to reveal latest Inks innovations at FESPA 2020

Nazdar Ink Technologies will exhibit brand-new and established inkjet, screen, and flexo inks, as well as examples of its special effects portfolio, on Stand C75, Hall B7 at the forthcoming FESPA Global Print Expo 200, which will take place on 24th-27th March in Madrid.

An expert in screenprinting inks, Nazdar will be debuting the new Nazdar 2800 Series Durable Graphic Screen Ink. One of the first dual-cure UV/UV-LED inks specifically formulated for the durable decal market, 2800 Series offers excellent adhesion on vinyl and print-treated polyesters and boasts four-year outdoor durability without an overprint. The 2800 Series exhibits excellent chemical resistance, accepts premask, and thermal die-cuts without edge chipping. Five-year outdoor durability can be achieved by overprinting with Nazdar 2829 Durable Overprint Clear.

Nazdar 565 Series digital imaging inks are designed for use in Oki ColorPainter M-64s printers running with the original SX Series eco-solvent ink cartridges. With plug-and-play capabilities and consistent high-speed printing performance, users can simply replace the OEM ink as it runs out with the 565 Series ink, to produce high-impact, high-intensity colours comparable to the original inkset.

The new and improved Nazdar 184v2 Series ink formulations deliver an exceptionally close colour match to OEM ink, improved jetting stability at high print speeds, and a faster drying time than their predecessors. Like all Nazdar’s high-quality alternative ink solutions, they offer comparable or improved performance than OEM inks, at a lower price point. The 184v2 Series’s plug-and-play capabilities enable users of Mimaki printers running BS4 inks to change to Nazdar 184v2 Series ink without the need to flush. OEM pouches can be replaced with Nazdar 184v2 Series pouches as they run out, thus saving both time and money as there is no need to perform wasteful ink fill procedures or dispose of unused ink.

As the market converts from conventional curing to LED, there is a need for both types of ink systems. Rather than duplicating these efforts, Nazdar is developing a range of dual curing inks, including the Nazdar 749 Series for roll-to-roll systems and the 710 Series ink for hybrid devices. Coming soon will a replacement to the 730 Series and 731 for flatbeds. Nazdar has also updated an ink system for use on non-heated UV digital machines, delivering stronger density and colour strength as well as lower odour.

FESPA 2020 will also see Nazdar present its 2300 UV/UV-LED Screen Inks. This dual-cure series, developed for the container market, is perfect for printing onto various glass and plastic bottles used in the packaging of cosmetics, household chemicals and other similar applications, while offering energy savings and a smaller environmental footprint.

Nazdar 3500 Series and 3529/3539 Screen Inks, also on display, are designed for long-term outdoor durability on premium pressure-sensitive vinyl films for exterior applications, featuring excellent weatherability and chemical resistance.

Nazdar’s eye-catching Special Effects Inks binder will also showcase creative ways to harness speciality inks’ capabilities, such as metallic finishes, phosphorescence and various textures.

Ink experts from Nazdar’s technical service team, InkAnswers, will be on hand to answer visitors’ perplexing printing problems. Whether printing indoor or outdoor applications on paper, plastics, textiles, metal, glass, containers or packaging, there’s a Nazdar ink that’s right for every job.
