William Smith’s recent Open Day proved an even greater success than previous events, attracting over 150 customers from across the UK to the company’s Barnard Castle Headquarters, where they were able to find out a lot more about the whole range of help and support the company offers.

As well as enjoying guided tours and hands-on vehicle wrapping demonstrations, visitors also had the opportunity to talk to product suppliers and to see William Smith’s own manufacturing and fabrication processes in action.  In addition, there was a series of seminars designed to provide useful tips, tactics and techniques on a diverse selection of topics, such as See-Through Graphics, Social Media Marketing, How to Sell a Vehicle Wrap, Effective Traffic Signs, and How to Wrap it Right.

Open-Day-WS-2-webAccording to Guy Burgess, William Smith’s Traffic Account Manager, attendees were also very appreciative of the fact that they were allowed to wander around without being chaperoned.  He said: Many visitors were delighted to have the freedom to choose how to spend their time most profitably,” a sentiment that was echoed by many of the visitors, whose general feeling seemed to be one of surprise that William Smith’s product portfolio is so all encompassing.

The company is planning further Open Days for 2014.
