Red hot signs
NSI Limited recently completed work on the signage for Red Hot World Buffet in Leicester prior to its opening at the end of June, when it earned the distinction of becoming the city’s largest restaurant.
Working alongside Red Hot’s design agency, NSI manufactured and installed a range of internal and external signage fincorporating different design themes, which reflect the wide variety of cuisines on offer.
As a prominent corner site, external signage was created for elevations on both sides of the building, including fascia signs with halo illuminated built-up letters, a projection sign and window graphics. Internally, NSI produced a range of different signage types for the various areas of the world buffet, including illuminated poster boxes and illuminated letters. The bar front and columns were also decked out with vinyl graphics and internal doors and glass panels were enhanced with the use of frosted vinyl. In addition, an illuminated poster box featured acrylic letters fixed to single line bars, to create old cinema style signage.
Ed Passey, Group Operations Director for Red Hot World Buffet said: “We are delighted with the end result created by our design team. The execution is of the highest standard and the visual impact has achieved exactly the fast paced contemporary casual diningambience we were seeking to replicate, whilst still fulfilling the basic requirement of clearly conveying the requisiteinformation to the guests.”
