Roland to show at Printwear & Promotion LIVE!
Showing on Stand G60, Roland will provide a showcase of innovations, including the brand new Roland Texart RT-640M printer. Released in late 2018, this versatile dye-sublimation device can be used for both direct-to-textile or transfer printing, thus making it the ideal choice for short run, on-demand production at an attractive price to performance ratio.
Also on display will be the Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 printer/cutter and Roland CAMM-1 GS-24 desktop vinyl cutter, both of which are popular choices for businesses operating in the promotional clothing market, and the Roland TrueVIS SG-300 , which will be demonstrating its powerful high-volume wide format printing and cutting functions.. Each of these systems is powered by Roland’s advanced VersaWorks 6 RIP software.
The Roland stand will also feature demonstrations of its leading personalisation solutions, such as the recently launched Roland DGSHAPE LD-80, the world’s first laser foil decorator. Designed as a fast, safe and easy-to-use alternative to traditional hot foil stamping, the LD-80 can be used to apply metallic, gold, gloss or holographic details to gift boxes, leather tags and other small objects, thus enabling users to customise sophisticated branded items with an elegant finishing touch. In addition, visitors will also be able to see the Roland VersaUV LEF-12i benchtop UV printer, which outputs vibrant colours, crisp monochromes and even textures onto a wide array of materials, including textiles.
A further stand attraction will be the presence of the Roland Academy, which will be heading to Birmingham for a special Print Clinic hosted by experts from all areas of the Roland team. These daily Q&A sessions are intended to solve problems, provide essential advice and to motivate visitors to further develop their businesses. The Roland team will also be joined by Alex Liggett, owner of The Vinyl Guys, who will be revealing how his TrueVIS SG-540 helped him to grow his business and be sharing his insights into print production with visitors.
