SDEA puts sustainability on the agenda
A keynote session at the upcoming Retail Design Expo Conference will be a presentation and discussion by the Shop and Display Equipment Association on the developing SDEA Sustainability Initiative.
Sustainability in the retail environment is attracting increasing attention, from within the SDEA membership and also from their clients and consumers in general. SDEA is determined to provide to its members a tool which delivers sustainability without sacrificing cost, lead-time or functionality.
A panel including David Bloom, Marks & Spencer head of global specifications, store design, Pete Dawes, 4G Design managing director, and Dr Ed Suttie, director of BRE Sustainable Materials at the Building Research Establishment, will consider environmental issues that are becoming so important to the retail sector.
The SDEA Sustainability session is scheduled for 12.15pm on Wednesday 11th March at the Retail Design Conference at Retail Design Expo, Olympia, London. All sessions are free to attend.
