Signs Express opens in Colchester & Chelmsford

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Signs Express is taking the opportunity to announce that its newest female franchisee, Mayura Joshi, has become the owner of Signs Express (Colchester & Chelmsford).

Graduating from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management in New Delhi with a Masters degree in management (the equivalent of a British MBA), Mayura began her career in Business Development for a web solutions firm, before embarking on 11-years of corporate management consulting and in-house project work. Since moving to the UK, she has also worked as a contracted HR Project Manager and run an online retail business at the same time as raising two children.

Commenting on her latest venture, Mayura explained, “I’m ilooking forward to establishing the Signs Express brand in Colchester and Chelmsford and to delivering the best possible service to our customers. I find it quite amusing when people are surprised at the fact that not only do I run a signage company, but that I also do it single-handedly. I genuinely believe that it’s a ‘person’ that gets the job done, it doesn’t matter if you are male or female.”

The new centre, which will cover Colchester, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, including Clacton, Frinton, Witham, Maldon, Ingatestone and Woodham Ferrers, is a fully equipped production facility with a temperature-controlled vehicle bay, offering a full range of signs and graphics solutions.
