Soyang strengthens its textile options

Soyang Europe has introduced a raft of new products to further strengthen its textile collection, including materials, consumables and finishing solutions, thus further broadening its offering to offering to this growing sector.

Soyang Europe is now stocking the ST-217 Eclipse blockout material, which was developed by its Chinese partner Soyang Technologies and has a palatable white reverse making it aesthetically pleasing. Available in widths up to 3.2m, this triple layer textile weighs in at 310gsm and is ideal for use as a backing liner for textile tension frame systems, or for backdrop graphics printed with either dye sublimation or UV print technologies.

Another new textile material is ST-603 Polarlight is a coated backlit fabric that has been treated to make it print receptive and then coated again on one side with resin, facilitating UV printing on the coated side with high resolution. It’s made from 100 percent polyester, to provide a super smooth surface, good wrinkle resistance and excellent light transmission.

In addition, two of Soyang’s popular printable textiles, ST-216 Nightstar and ST-601 Starlight have recently been released in five-metre widths, and are thus suitable for use in grand-format exhibition and retail markets. ST-160 Starlight is a backlit textile that can be used in conjunction with UV and Latex inks to create impressive lightbox displays, while Nightstar is a black back fabric with a slight stretch that is the ideal choice for backdrops, especially when using frame systems.

A further exciting addition to Soyang Europe’s product range is a finishing product manufactured in Canada, GreenStrip Keder, a specially formulated, PVC-free keder for textile tension frame applications. It has been designed to fulfill the demand for textile finishing products, including those used for lightboxes and frames.

The latest addition to Soyang Europe’s consumables portfolio is the Transjet Boost sublimation transfer paper, a coated sublimation paper for use with digital transfer printing with water-based dye-sub inks, which is especially suited for high-speed printing. It offers enhanced colour release and densities along with excellent ink absorption and drying for all those using transfer sublimation technology.”
