swissQprint to launch fourth generation flatbeds at FESPA
swissQprint is using the occasion of FESPA Global Print Expo 2021, which will take place at the RAI in Amsterdam on 12th-15th October, to introduce its fourth generation of flatbed printers, that feature new print head technology along with advanced mechanical features that are designed to further improve output quality.

The new print heads offer a maximum resolution of 1350 dpi and ultra-high-precision droplet placement that significantly boosts the print quality of both the Impala and Nyala printing systems. Both printers also benefit from an impressive increase in output for certain production print modes. For example, the Oryx printing system is almost 40 percent faster than its predecessor, making it a truly outstanding entry-level printer.

swissQprint has also incorporated various mechanical improvements into this new generation of its machines, of which the Tip Switch Vacuum (patent pending) is a highlight. The table is divided into as many as 256 segments that users can quickly and easily switch on or off at the touch of a finger. This eliminates tedious and time-consuming masking, as well as the gap between boards and dual rolls. Because there is no air leakage, the vacuum develops its full force and reliably holds down even hard-to-handle media.

As is usual with swissQprint, the new range offers a host of options for individual configuration. Users can precisely tailor their printer to suit their current needs, secure in the knowledge that they can add a diverse range of further options at any time in line with business growth and changing customer demand.

The new flatbed generation from swissQprint is available for delivery via the company’s worldwide distribution network.

Visitors to FESPA Global Print Expo will be able to see the 4th generation machines in action on Stand G30, Hall 1.

In addition, demonstrations can be arranged either face-to-face or via live streaming and the company also offers a sampling service.
