Tom Lake joins CIM Signs & Graphics

Norfolk based CIM Signs & Graphics has appointed Tom Lake as Business Development Manager.

Tom was previously Customer Experience Manager at private education provider Kingswood for six years, where he was responsible for booking and coordinating educational residential visits across two sites in North Norfolk and ensuring high levels of customer retention.

In his new role, he will be responsible for proactive sales across all areas of the CIM Sign & Graphics business, including interior and exterior signs, store fascias and wall coverings.

Joining the company during the Coronavirus pandemic has given Tom the opportunity to get to know CIM inside and out and he has initially been helping new customers who have contacted the company for social distancing signage and protective screens, as well as their other requirements.

Commenting on his new job, Tom said: “Lockdown has given me the chance to really get under the skin of CIM, which has a vast range of customers operating across a wide variety of industries. I’m most looking forward to getting out to meet people and to showcase our extensive print and graphics capabilities when I’m able to, but in the meantime, video calls, phone and e-mail are proving to be a great way to introduce myself and take orders.”

Mark Baker, Managing Director of CIM, added: “We’re really pleased to have Tom onboard and, despite these challenging times, he has already proven to be a great addition to the team. We’re in the fortunate position of having lots of loyal customers who keep coming back, but with Tom’s help, we’re looking forward to branching out further to proactively reach more businesses across East Anglia and beyond.”

Established in 2000, CIM is one of the region’s leading sign, graphics and wide format businesses and provides everything from exhibition panels and bespoke office wallcoverings to store fascias and car liveries.
