UK Graphic Awards opens for entries
Now in the second year, the 2022 UK Graphic Awards are open for entries and the organiser has also revealed that this year’s event will take place on October 5th at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester.

With a number of new categories, there are opportunities for businesses of all sizes to be recognised for their most creative and visually impactful projects, their focus on sustainability and their commitment to their

Awards Founder Dan Tyler said “The response to the announcement of the second event has been brilliant. We’re chuffed to have seen the entries coming in already and we’re expecting a tough contest this year as the industry celebrates a return to running at full steam and producing its most creative work once again.”

The UK Graphic Awards has quickly become established as the event of the year in the UK wide-format print industry’s calendar. After bringing the industry back together for the first time in almost two years at the 2021 event, which took place last September, attendees and sponsors praised the high energy generated by the celebration and the focus on recognising the most creative and impactful work from across the industry.

Paul Fitch, Head of Inkjet at AGFA UK & Ireland, which is sponsoring the event’s Best in Show award for a second consecutive year said “Last year was a fantastic event to celebrate the sign and display market, an industry that Agfa is fully committed to. Wide-format companies are producing some of the most innovative and creative work in the print industry and thus deserve the recognition that these awards bring. Agfa’s continued commitment to the UK Graphics Awards shows its support for this market and the importance of an event like this.”

Commenting on the receipt o entries, Paul continued: “Companies should be proud to enter the work they are producing. Some of the applications last year were outstanding, This is a time to shout about the work they produce.”

Entry to the awards is free and open to all wide-format print businesses operating within the UK. The organiser is looking for entrants to demonstrate their creativity and showcase their very best design, print and installation projects.

Museums & Galleries

Printed Signage

Printed Vehicle Wraps

Retail: In-store

Retail: Windows


Best in Show (chosen by the judges from the winners of all project categories)

Five additional awards will recognise the entrant’s efforts to drive sustainability and innovation in their businesses, achievements by those new to the industry, and the companies most committed to delivering excellence to their customers. They are:

The Green Award

The Innovation Award

Rising Star

Wide-format print company of the year (under 30 employees)

Wide-format print company of the year (30+ employees)
