Vism anticipates further growth in 2020

Project management software provider Vism is predicting another year of strong growth in 2020, after rounding off 2019 with a series of new releases and updates within its cloud-based dashboards and apps.

Vism’s Managing Director Dan Tyler was at pains to point out that the company’s growth has also benefitted all of its customers too. He explained: “Less than 18 months after launching, Vism is now used by more than 700 graphics and signage professionals across the UK to manage their day-to-day work.”

“Through our focus on providing first-class support and listening to our users, we’ve been able to collate a huge amount of feedback from this growing customer base, which we use to make our software even better. In fact, the latest updates, including a new client portal, mobile project management app and an updated installer app, have all been built in direct response to customer feedback. Because our products are designed specifically for use by the large format graphics and signage sectors, any improvements we make based on feedback benefit all our clients.”

Installers using Vism work from a mobile app that enables them to register their availability for jobs, review their work schedule, receive relevant documentation and send completion photos to their clients once a job is completed.

Dan revealed that Vism has rebuilt the installer app from the ground up based on customer feedback. He said: “Version two of the app is a lot smoother, with improved photo-sharing capabilities and faster data transfer. We’ve also introduced a new chat function so that project managers and installers can talk in real-time through the app if they have any questions or problems with the job.”

Since Vism launched the new version of the installer app its seen month on month support requests fall by 98 percent.

Dan added: “Our customers say that the new features have made things better for everyone. They report that they are receiving updates and photos back from installers much more quickly, which means they can, in turn, improve the service they offer their clients.”

The new client portal allows Vism customers to have their own facility for providing clients with live status updates and completion photos. The benefits are clear”, Dan continued. “One of our customers works on a 500-plus store roll out for a major retailer three times a year and is now using the client portal to allow the customer to login and check the progress with every one of those stores. Thus, our customer has complete control over what is shared. We’ve also seen two companies win significant contracts on the back of being able to offer real-time progress updates to their prospective customers via the client portal.”

The Vism team will continue to focus on listening to its customers. Dan concluded: “In this fast-evolving industry it’s important that we remain agile and responsive to the insights that they provide. To this end, we’re also planning some more major releases during 2020, so watch this space!”
