William Smith now stocks 500 3M DI-NOC patterns
A major investment in 3M DI-NOC stock now places a choice of 500 patterns (half the entire 1000 pattern collection) at the fingertips of William Smith Architextural Division’s customers.

All stock is available off the shelf, and by the metre, thus providing installers with the advantage of offering choice to their clients, together with readily available samples, and shorter lead times.

The new DI-NOC finishes include an even greater selection of wood, colours, metallics, stone, and fabric, as well as 3M’s recently launched suede collection. More specialist finishes include abrasion-resistant, matt, and exterior, to meet even the most exacting design requirements and to create innovative solutions.

The investment of almost £300,000 in the addition of 350 patterns is a clear demonstration of William Smith’s commitment to the UK market and its continuing support for its installers.

Architextural Marketing Manager, Lindsay Appleton, commented: “Stock availability means we can offer greater access to material by the metre, and help our sign and print customers to win more projects by enabling them to offer sampling and prototypes to their customers.”

William Smith Group 1832’s Head of Marketing, Chris Bradley added: “Our Architextural Division was created to drive awareness with architects, designers and specifiers as to the possibility of using architectural wrapping as an alternative surface choice when delivering refurbishments. Now, with many companies taking a greater interest in sustainability issues generally, the prospect of conserving existing fixtures and fittings instead of replacing them, and enhancing their appearance using wrapping techniques is becoming increasingly attractive, especially since it also offers substantial cost savings too.

“Accordingly, we are a seeing rapid growth in the demand for these decorative wrapping films and our Architextural division is now the largest UK stockist of architectural films, from the two leading brands, 3M DI-NOC and Cover Styl.”

Working in partnership with 3M, William Smith is the lead supplier of DI-NOC stock in the UK.
