Wrights Plastics gets tooled up

Wrights Plastics has announced that it has recently invested almost £2 million in the acquisition of new equipment to ensure that it remains competitive in an increasingly globalised market.

Over the last year, the West Bromwich-based business, which specialises in the production of retail display, signage and graphics has purchased a digital printer that is three times faster than equivalent models, two digital cutting systems and a laser cutter. MD

Mike Wright, the company’s Managing Director, commented: “Our ongoing investment isn’t only a  measure of our commitment to UK manufacturing; it has also enabled us to expand our service offering, while also improving efficiency and increasing productivity.

“With the impact of manufacturing processes on the environment now, quite rightly causing greater concern, our investment in the latest kit is helping us to minimise our energy use, lower wastage and reduce our carbon footprint.

“We have been early adopters of many of the items we have bought and now strongly believe that the breadth and scope of our plant list are unparalleled in our sector.”
